POINT HALSWELL BATTERY

Drawn to illustrate the relationship between the two levels of the underground works of the Halswell battery.

There was originally a barrier across the doorway (in the main passage of the lower leve)l to the area where the bottom of the shell hoist was.

When I visited the site there was various junk in the lower level - mainly in the Shell store. This was from when the battery was stripped during conversion to a memorial/tomb.
